Case Study

Colostrum is produced in the mammary glands of all female mammals during pregnancy and in the first days after giving birth. It contains a high amount of essential elements that are exclusively present in this concentrated, high-quality organic form within the initial 72 hours after the mother's milk arrives. The composition of colostrum is determined by nature and includes an optimal balance of vitamins, trace elements, amino acids, immunoglobulins, and growth factors.

International studies demonstrate that the components of colostrum promote and support healthy skin. The subsequent case study illustrates the positive effects of colostrum skin cream in relieving and regenerating skin irritations.

Material and Use

It is not possible to use colostrum in its raw state due to a high amount of fat, large molecular proteins, and other undesirable substances. Through newly developed, gentle biophysical production methods, fat, casein, albumin, and other contaminants are removed, while the active substances remain in their natural balance. Immupure skin cream from the German company (Manufacturer for Immupure LLC) was used for the pilot study, with processing conducted in compliance with GMP, DIN ISO 9001, and HACCP regulations.

The case study involved 50 patients:

- 15 suffered from psoriasis

- 20 suffered from neurodermatitis

- 15 suffered from acne vulgaris

The observation period lasted for 8 weeks and took place in various doctors' offices. All patients had undergone previous dermatological treatments, yet their complaints persisted. The results were evaluated subjectively and objectively, categorizing improvements into: no improvement, slight improvement, significant improvement, and complete healing.

Seven patients initially experienced irritation and decided to discontinue the use of Immupure cream after 2 days, resuming after 4 days. Subjective and objective results were compiled and recorded after 8 weeks, with all other treatments halted. Patients applied the Immupure® cream to the affected areas in the mornings and evenings.

Discussion

The case study comprised 50 patients recruited from various doctors' offices, focusing on individuals with psoriasis, neurodermatitis, and acne vulgaris that had not responded to standard treatments. The results were compiled over an 8-week period.

In all tested conditions, there was a significant improvement, with every patient experiencing some level of benefit from the colostrum, ranging from slight to substantial improvement. Notably, all three test criteria exhibited noticeable significant improvement, and there were instances of complete healing, especially among acne patients.

The efficacy of the cream can be attributed to its natural active substances system, including growth factors, amino acids, immunoglobulins, and other anti-bacterial substances. It can be inferred that the number of patients achieving complete healing could increase with continued treatment. Further results can be assessed after 3 months, although making statements about faster healing effects over an extended period is currently not possible.

Synopsis

In the case of allergen-bacterial-based skin irritations that have not responded to standard treatments, the application of Immupure colostrum results in a significant improvement within 8 weeks.
