Many strange ingredients go into beauty products, both synthetic and natural, but one of the very strangest we’ve come across recently is Colostrum. That’s the thick, nutrient-rich milk all baby mammals get from their mothers in the 24 hours immediately following their birth. And apparently it’s so good for your skin it’s been used as the main ingredient in the Immupure range.

Immupure founder Detlef Fuhrmann got the idea for the range when he heard how farmhands who worked with cows and their newborn calves had miraculously blemish-free hands. That was because they were coming into contact with Colostrum which is packed with immunglobulines, polypeptides, aminoacids, vitamins and minerals.
